On June 15, Deputies J. Kader and A. Terrell were notified of a family violence assault in the 12800 block of Roy Harris Loop. The Deputies were advised that an argument had occurred between the husband and wife at the location and that the female had been assaulted. On arrival the male was sitting on the porch waiting for the Deputies. He was detained. The Deputies spoke to the female who stated she and her husband had gotten into an argument over her leaving him. He pushed her face into a wall and bent her arm behind her back before letting her go. He then began punching holes in the walls and doors. The 27 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:48am and transported to jail.
On June 15, Corporal P. Smith was sent to the 10300 block of Jefferson Chemical Road in reference to a terroristic threat family violence call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated she and her husband had separated three days prior and he was staying with his grandmother on the same property talking with his ex-girlfriend. The wife went over and confronted them as she picked up a brick and threatened to hit his vehicle. The husband came outside with a .45 semi-automatic pistol and according to the complainant, pointed it at her and told her to put the brick down or he would shoot her. She left and called 9-1-1. The 27 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 5:25pm and transported to jail.
On June 17, Deputy K. Underwood was in J P court to testify when it was discovered a male at the location had warrants outstanding. The 33 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 3:00pm, charged with three traffic warrants out of Montgomery County and taken to jail.
On June 17, Deputy K. Albritton was dispatched to the Walnut Cove Pool area in reference to an assault. The Deputy met with a male juvenile complainant, his mother and a witness who stated a male while standing in line along with the juvenile, punched the juvenile twice in the chest causing bodily injury. The 25 year old male from Willis was arrested at 3:45pm, charged with injury to a child and taken to jail.
On June 18, Deputy K. Underwood responded to the 8300 block of Piney Shores Drive in reference to an assault. The Deputy met with a security guard for the Resort who stated he had received numerous calls about a suspicious male in the area. The security guard spotted the male and attempted to detain him when he was knocked down by the male. The male was intoxicated. The male struck the security guard several times before he was restrained with hand restraints by the guard. Later the Deputy attempted to place the male in the patrol vehicle and met with resistance by the male attempting to get away. This happened twice. The male was finally restrained in the patrol vehicle with assistance from another Deputy. The 17 year old male was arrested at 3:24am, charged with assault causing bodily injury and resisting arrest and transported to jail.
On June 18, Deputy K. Underwood was sent to the 11500 block of Duffy in reference to a theft. The Deputy met with a male and female complainant who advised a male, of their acquaintance, had been at their home and had taken a cell phone and possibly some other items. While receiving the report the male was seen driving by. Deputies Underwood and K. Albritton stopped the vehicle containing two males, one being the male suspect who was driving. During the ensuing investigation and a consent to search the vehicle, the Deputies located two controlled substances and a dangerous drug. The 24 year old male suspect from Conroe was arrested at 10:38pm, charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of a dangerous drug. The 25 year old male passenger from Conroe was also arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Both were taken to jail.
On June 19, Deputy D. Pena was dispatched to the 10100 block of Greenridge Road in reference to a burglary. The Deputy met with a male and female complainant who advised that three males and several females had kicked the back door in and once inside the males assaulted the male complainant. The male was struck several times with brass knuckles and kicked in the head. The complainant recognized the males. The suspects located the female complainant hiding in a closet. She was pulled out of the closet and thrown on the bed and told to get out of the house. The males punched holes in the walls and kicked in bedroom doors. The males were located a short time later on Hwy 105 by Corporal C. Peckne. The complainants were brought to the location to identify the suspects which they did. A 21 year old male from Huntsville, a 20 year old male from Magnolia and a 20 year old male from Lufkin were arrested, charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault and taken to jail.
On June 19, Deputy K. Berger observed a vehicle run a red light on Hwy 105 and FM 1485. The Deputy stopped the vehicle, which had accelerated to 80 miles an hour and was weaving in the traffic lane, in the 12700 block of Hwy 105. The male driver was found to be intoxicated. The 25 year old male from Spring was arrested at 4:46am, charged with DWI and taken to jail.
On June 19, Deputy K. Underwood observed a male stumbling and nearly falling into a traffic lane on FM 1097 near I-45. Upon making contact with the male it was discovered the male was intoxicated. The 40 year old male from Willis was arrested at 11:39pm and taken to jail.
On June 20, Deputy R. Salazar responded to the 100 block of Kellyn Oaks Drive in reference to a family violence assault call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and her live-in boyfriend had been arguing and she told him she wanted to break up. The male grabbed the complainant by the head and slammed it in the wall. Both subjects had been drinking beer. The 26 year old male from Conroe was arrested and transported to jail.
District 2 – Lt. Brady Fitzgerald (South County)
On June 13, 2010 at approximately 11:00 pm, Sergeant Hammons was dispatched to Fuller Bluff Drive in reference to a Disturbance. During the course of the investigation, it was found that a 29 yr old White Female on location was wanted for Civil Contempt (Child Support) and Failure to Appear. Sergeant Hammons confirmed the warrants were active and then placed the subject in custody and transported her to the Montgomery County Jail.
On June 14, 2010 at approximately 7:30 am, Deputy Hernandez observed a vehicle traveling west on Northridge Forest Drive approaching the Imperial Oaks Blvd intersection. The vehicle did not stop for the red light and nearly struck a cement curb. Deputy Hernandez then conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon making contact with the driver, Deputy Hernandez discovered him to be a Black Male age 15. The driver provided false information as to his identity and the owner of the vehicle. The vehicle’s registered owner was contacted, and was unaware her vehicle had been taken. A short while later she arrived on scene to give a statement, at which time she advised she would press charges. The driver was later identified, as a ward of the state that had disappeared from a living facility in Houston. He was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility and charged with Possession of Stolen Property.
On June 17, 2010 at approximately 3:35 pm, Corporal Mullis responded to a trespasser in progress call at 25650 I-45 North. The complainant stated that the suspect had been entering empty apartments to “Flop,” and was not authorized to be on the property. The suspect, Hispanic Male 19 yrs old, was taken into custody for Trespassing. A search incident to the arrest found the suspect had a passport from Guatemala that did not belong to him. He stated it belonged to a friend, but he could not tell Corporal Mullis the friend’s name. Charges were accepted by the District Attorney’s office for Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information,
On June 18, 2010 at approximately 1 am, Deputy Ortiz conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of North Millbend and N. Timber Top. The driver of the vehicle, White Male 18 yrs old from the Woodlands, was identified by his Occupational Driver’s license. The license showed that the suspect was not to be driving after midnight. During the course of the traffic stop, the suspect was found to be in possession of marijuana. The suspect was taken into custody for Possession Marijuana and transported to the South Montgomery County Jail without incident.
On June 18, 2010 at approximately 12:30 pm, Deputy Meredith responded to a pawnshop on I-45 in reference to two subjects attempting to pawn stolen merchandise. The suspects, Black Male 22 yrs old and White Male 19 yrs old, had pawned a guitar the day before. The suspects returned and were attempting to pawn 3 additional guitars and 8 guitar pedals valued at over $5000. The suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail charged with possession of stolen property.
District 3 – Lt. Darrel Conn (East County)
On 6/14/10 Deputy White was dispatched to the 20000 block of Emerald Ln. in reference to a report of child endangerment. Upon his arrival he learned that a mother had taken and tied two of her children’s big wheels to the back of her car and was towing the children around the neighborhood with the vehicle. The children were 5 and 7 years old. The 36 year old mother was arrested for two counts of Child Endangerment.
On 6/15/10 Deputy Dunn and Cpl. Armstrong were dispatched to the 19000 block of White Oak in reference to a family violence call. Upon their arrival they met with the victim who stated that the suspect had struck her in the mouth causing pain. The officers observed an injury to her lip and a small laceration. The suspect, a 45 year old male was arrested and charged with Assault Family Violence.
On 6/19/10 Deputy Holden was dispatched to the Porter Walmart in reference to a Theft in progress. Upon his arrival he observed a female exit the store. Loss prevention had observed the female conceal merchandise in her purse without paying and exit the store. Deputy Holden detained the female and she was found to have $160 worth of merchandise in her purse. The suspect, a 28 year old female was arrested and charged with Theft.
On 6/21/10 Deputy Lawless was dispatched to the 17000 block of FM 1485 in reference to an Assault Family Violence call. Upon his arrival he met with the complainant who stated that she and her brother had been in an argument and that he had taken out a pocket knife and threatened her with it. The suspect, a 54 year old male was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault Family Violence.
On 6/21/10 Deputy Dunn and Cpl. Armstrong were dispatched to an Assault Family Violence call in the 23000 block of Hwy 59. Upon their arrival they spoke with witnesses that observed a man and woman on a balcony at the home and the man was choking the female. They attempted to make contact at the door but no one would answer. Deputies then made forced entry to check the welfare of the female. They then made contact with several individuals in the home including the female who stated that she had been choked and lost consciousness. Upon entering the home Deputies found several Marijuana plants. The suspect in the assault, a 22 year old male, was arrested and charged with Assault by Strangulation, a third degree felony. The homeowner was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.
District 4 – Lt. David Park (West County)
On June 20th Deputy LaSalle responded to the 27000 Block of Cherokee Lane in reference to a Burglary in Progress. Upon arrival Deputy LaSalle met with the Complainant (an off-duty HPD Officer in Uniform) who advised he had arrived home and found a 39 year old white male suspect walking out of his shed. The HPD Officer had tried to apprehend the suspect but the suspect ran into the woods. The HPD Officer showed Deputy LaSalle a Tan Yukon that was parked adjacent to his property with a woman asleep in the front passenger seat. The vehicle was checked by Dispatch and came back as stolen out of Harris County. At approximately 9:30 pm Deputy LaSalle received information that the suspect was at his parent’s house located on Single Tree Lane. The subject was taken into custody for Burglary of a Building, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Evading and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On June 20th Deputy Crandell responded to a Family Violence in Progress. Upon arrival Deputy Crandell met with Deputy LaSalle who had detained a 25 year old white female subject who appeared to be highly upset. The mother of the subject advised that the subject had gone crazy and started fighting with her boyfriend and had started swinging a golf club at him. The subject had pushed her boyfriend causing him to fall on bricks. The female subject was taken into custody for Assault Family Violence and transported to female booking.
On June 20th Deputy Hahs received information about a 23 year old white male subject having an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear (Civil Contempt). The subject was located at 26600 Block of Missouri Pacific. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
On June 17th Sgt Russell was dispatched to a Disturbance in Progress. Upon arrival the female Complainant advised her boyfriend a 47 year old male was smoking crack earlier and they had got into an argument over his drug usage. The argument escalated into a physical altercation in which the male’s subject held a pillow over the Complainant’s face and began choking her. The male subject was placed into custody for Family Violence -Strangulation. While the Sergeant was searching the subject before transporting him, a trace amount of Crack Cocaine was found on his person. Possession of Controlled Substance was added to the subjects arrest record.
On June 14th Corporal Sumrall and Deputy Tavarez were dispatched to the area of Decker Prairie and South Wiggins in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival the Deputies met with the female Complainant who advised that she and the male subject had began arguing over her not answering her cell phone. As she had tried to leave with her baby the suspect had attempted to take away the baby by grabbing and pulling on the child. The suspect then pushed the Complainant causing her to fall to the floor. As the Complainant tried to get up the male subject grabbed her by the throat and began choking her. Deputy Tavarez and Corporal Sumrall took the subject into custody and charged him with Assault Family Violence (Strangulation).
On June 14th Sgt Russell was dispatched to Stagecoach Road. Upon arrival the Complainant advised his truck was keyed and he had chased suspects to a residence where a group of people approached him with sticks and bats. The Complainant sprayed the group with Bear Repellent and they fled. A juvenile from the group through a cement block which struck the Complainant’s truck. A witness identified a 17 year old white male subject as the actor who had keyed the Complainant’s truck. The 17 year old was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Mischief. A 15 year old juvenile confessed to throwing the cement block and was taken into custody for Criminal Mischief and transported to Juvenile Detention.
On June 13th Deputy Zavorski was dispatched to the Decker Hills Subdivision in reference to a Family Violence in Progress. Upon arrival the deputy met with the Complainant and his 21 year old son. The Complainant stated his some threaten him and he had his wife call 911. The son was placed into custody for Assault by Threat (Family Violence) and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
On 06/17/10, Cpl. Spiller responded to Eastchase Drive in regards to a Criminal Trespass in progress. The female Complainant reported that her estranged husband had just broken the window out and attempted to gain entry into the residence she was visiting. Her estranged husband, Suspect, was located nearby attempting to elude officers and was taken into custody. The Suspect was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
On 06/19/10, Deputy Lowe responded to Lakeshore Dr in regards to a Disturbance in progress. It was determined that an adult male and female, brother & sister, were intoxicated and had been involved in a verbal and physical altercation. Both subjects were arrested for Assault and placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
On 06/20/10, Deputy Farmer responded to a local establishment located at 14600 SH 105 West in regards to a Disturbance. It was learned that an adult male had became intoxicated and was causing a disturbance. When officers attempted to detain the subject the subject fled on foot. When the subject was caught, the subject resisted and was taken into custody. The subject was arrested for Public Intoxication, Evading Arrest and Resisting Arrest. The subject was then placed into the Montgomery County Jail.
On 06/21/10, Deputy Garner responded to a local establishment located at 18100 SH 105 West in regards to an Assault. Investigation revealed that a female patron had been physically assaulted by a male patron and during the assault the female was struck in the head with a bar stool causing serious injury. The female Complainant was treated at the scene and later transported to a local hospital by ambulance. The male Suspect had fled the scene and has not been arrested. The investigation is on-going.
District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)
On June 14, 2010, at approximately 1 am, Deputy Aguilar and Dep. Uber responded to a welfare check of a possibly intoxicated woman at 30330 FM 2978. Upon arrival, Deputies met with the complainant, who stated that the suspect had rear-ended his vehicle in the drive-thru lane. The driver, White Female 39 yrs old from Tomball, was still sitting in the driver’s seat with the engine running when officers arrived. Dep. Aguilar made contact with the driver and asked her to step out of the vehicle. After completing the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the suspect was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated. The passenger in the vehicle, White Female 39 yrs old, also from Tomball, was taken into custody for Public Intoxication. Both suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.
On June 14, 2010, at approximately 2 am, Deputy Underwood conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle he had observed weave across the centerline of traffic numerous times on Glen Loch Drive. The driver, White Female 29 yrs old from The Woodlands, admitting to having “a couple two or three” beers earlier that evening. After completing the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, Deputy Underwood determined that she was intoxicated, and she was a danger to herself or others, was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.
On June 21, 2010, at approximately 12:35 pm, Deputy Houstoun was working the Speed Step detail on Woodlands Parkway at Grogans Mill. At that time, a gray colored vehicle passed his vehicle driving at 67 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Houston activated his emergency equipment in an attempt to pull the vehicle over. The suspect increased his speed, then crossed a grassy median and jumped the curb making a turn into the East Shore area. Deputy Houstoun was finally able to get the vehicle stopped on the corner of Shell Port Square at East Shore Drive. The driver, White Male 24 from Magnolia, stated he “didn’t stop because he didn’t want a speeding ticket.” The driver was taken into custody for Evading with a Motor Vehicle and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
