District 1 – Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)
On 01/07/08 Deputy Buckner was dispatched to the 11,000 block of Oak Moss Lane, in Willis, in reference to a theft. The owner reported a Quincy air compressor stolen from his flat bed trailer that was parked in the yard. The compressor was reportedly blue in color and valued at $800. No further information available as of time of the report.
On 01/08/08 Corporal Bonner was dispatched to the 13,000 block of Lake Breeze, in Willis, in reference to a Burglary of a Habitation. Forced entry was determined and the homeowner reported a laptop computer, two digital cameras and a cam-corder were stolen. The Detective Division followed up and further investigation has developed a suspect. This case is currently active and on-going as of time of the report.
On 1/10/08 Deputy P. Smith was dispatched to the 13,000 block of Hwy. 75 North, in Willis, in reference to a Deadly Conduct. The property owner reported he was at home, sitting on his porch, when he heard what he believed to be a gun shot. After checking his house, he located a hole about the size of a quarter in a window. The homeowner suspects an unidentified suspect that may be driving a black colored, mid 80’s Ford pickup. Disposition – Referred to CID.
On 01/10/08 Deputy C. Holcomb was dispatched to the 16,000 block of FM 2090 in reference to a reckless driver. The suspect vehicle and driver were located and during a roadside interview several signs of intoxication were recognized. The driver was found to be in possession of several blue pills and based on the behavior of the individual; some of these pills had been taken. These pills were not packaged in a medically prescribed package and the pills were unidentified. Further investigation identified the pills as Hydrocodone. This person was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and transported to jail without incident.
On 01/12/08 Deputy P. Smith was dispatched to the 13,000 block of Browder Trailer Road, in reference to a Family Disturbance. On arrival, the complainant reported she had been assaulted. Redness and swelling to the face and head were noticed as injury received by the complainant. The suspect had fled the scene and reportedly stated he would be waiting for the cops in the woods with his guns. The suspect was located by the Sheriff Deputies and found to be in possession of toy guns and knives he had apparently painted to appear to be real weapons. This individual was taken into custody and charged with class “A” Assault along with an outstanding warrant for Theft by Check.
On 01/14/08 Deputy Adams was dispatched to the 11,000 block of Harvill, in Conroe, in reference to a Criminal Mischief. On arrival it was determined that a 43 year old male had apparently driven a vehicle through a fence and through a yard, causing several hundred dollars in damage. The 43 year old was arrested.
District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)
On 01/11/08, 1036, Deputy F. Self was dispatched to and arrived at 25227 Grogans Mill Road in reference to a burglary in progress. Two black males had been seen breaking into a truck on Grogans Mill. Three males were observed by Deputy M. Plata. He initiated a traffic stop and detained the three subjects. In plain view in the vehicle were several items such as saws, camera equipment binoculars, etc. The owner of the property was contacted and all property was released to him. The three suspects, B/M, 23, B/M, 30 and B/M, 30 were arrested for Criminal Mischief, M/A and Theft/ M/A and transported to Montgomery County Jail.
On 01/11/08, 1108, Deputy M. Uber attempted a traffic stop for speeding on Riley Fuzzel Road. The vehicle accelerated and Deputy Uber lost sight of it and later found the vehicle in a grassy area by a residence. Neighbors advised the driver was in the house. After over an hour and a half, the suspect, B/M, 24, exited the home and was arrested for Evading Arrest W/Vehicle, SJF. Upon entry to the residence, marijuana was found and the owner of the home, W/F, 22, who had arrived on the scene, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, M/B.
District 3 – Lt. Jim Fleming (East County
On January 7, Deputy G. Jackson was sent to the 15600 block of Country West Drive in reference to a family violence past call. The Deputy met with a female who advised that she and her husband have been separated for a year. The female’s boyfriend had his vehicle parked at the location and the suspect male broke the windshield and all other windows on it. The 36 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 2:27am and transported to jail.
On January 7, Deputy J. Guion was notified by fire department personnel of a male subject causing problems at an accident scene in the 15700 block of E. Relza Drive. The Deputy arrived and observed the male being belligerent with on scene personnel and refusing to leave after being ordered to. The Deputy attempted to restrain the male and met with resistance. The 29 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 8:11pm and transported to jail.
On January 7, Deputy J. Bruce received a welfare concern in the 20500 block of Lazy Creek Drive. The Deputy observed a highly intoxicated male on location. The 32 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 8:55pm and transported to jail.
On January 9, Deputy K. Pickerill was sent to the 27400 block of Burning Tree in reference to a disturbance. The Deputy arrived and met with a female complainant who advised she and her mother got into an argument and the mother punched her on the face. The female got away from her mother and attempted to call 9-1-1 when her mother prevented the call by pulling the plug on the phone. The 42 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 6:10pm and transported to jail.
On January 10, Deputy G. Harman and Deputy J. Bruce responded to a disturbance in progress in the 20400 block of Redbud Drive. On arrival the Deputies observed a highly intoxicated male on location. The 42 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 9:22pm and transported to jail.
On January 11, Deputy R. Layman was dispatched to the 20900 block of Lazy Creek Drive for a criminal mischief (diverting electricity) call. The Deputy arrived and met with a technician from Entergy who advised the resident had run wire from the breaker box illegally. The resident came home and was placed into custody. The 23 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 1:22pm and transported to jail.
On January 12, Deputy C. Evans was sent to the 19000 block of Forest Drive East in reference to a burglary. On arrival the Deputy met with a female complainant who advised her residence and vehicle had been broken into. As the female described the items taken, Deputy P. Rex located a vehicle in the ditch near Peach Creek Drive and Forest Drive. There were two males on location. The items taken in the burglaries were found in the vehicle. The two males, a 23 year old from New Caney and an 18 year old from Conroe, were arrested at 11:30pm and transported to jail.
On January 12, Deputy P. Rex observed a highly intoxicated male in the 19000 block of Forest Drive walking in the roadway. The 17 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 11:45pm and transported to jail.
On January 13, Deputy J. Hamilton was dispatched to the 15000 block of FM 1485 in reference to a welfare check. The Deputy observed a male asleep in the back seat of a vehicle that was in the ditch. The male was found to be intoxicated and the driver of the vehicle was not on location. The 25 year old male from Conroe was arrested at 6:30am and transported to jail.
On January 13, Sergeant B. Welch and Deputy J. Varnell were patrolling in the 3800 block of Loop 494 when they were flagged down by a rear passenger in a vehicle occupied by four male subjects. The Deputies, while interviewing the male subjects, observed cocaine in plain view in the center console of the vehicle. Deputy Varnell observed cocaine in a coin holder in the arm rest after the Deputies had received consent to search the vehicle. The Deputies observed the male driver to be carrying a 9mm semi-automatic Intratec pistol on his person. The males, an 18 year old from Conroe and a 27 year old (address unknown), were arrested at 7:15pm and transported to jail.

A 23 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 4:20pm, January 7, in the 15300 block of Country West Drive by Deputy J. Bruce for an assault causing bodily injury warrant and a theft by check warrant out of Montgomery County and three traffic warrants out of JP4 office. The Deputy was conducting a welfare concern. The male was transported to jail.
A 29 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 12:10pm, January 9, in the 23600 block of Hwy 59 by Deputy J. Hamilton for five traffic warrants out of the JP4 office. The Deputy was conducting a welfare concern. The male was transported to jail.
A 30 year old female from Porter was arrested at 8:00am, January 11, in the 23400 block of Hwy 59 by Deputy R. Meredith for a burglary of a habitation warrant out of Montgomery County. The female was listed on the fugitive warrant list and the Deputy had received prior information on her location. The female was transported to jail.
A 29 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 12:56pm, January 12, in the area of FM 1314 and Sorters Road by Deputy C. Azwell for a burglary of a habitation warrant out of Montgomery County. The male had been involved in a disturbance earlier and the Deputy stopped him in a vehicle that he had used to leave the disturbance. The male was transported to jail.
A 17 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 3:30pm, January 13, in the 27600 block of FM 2090 by Deputy K. Pickerill for a theft warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a disturbance call. The male was transported to jail.
District 4 – Lt. Art Galloway (West County)
On 1/08/08 Deputy J. Urban was dispatched to Pine Bark, Magnolia in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival at the location he met with the complainant and obtained information regarding the tools that had been stolen from his shed. The estimated value of the stolen tools is $575. Case referred to CID.
On 1/10/08 Deputy E. Diaz along with Deputy G. Kerr was dispatched to Argosy Lane in Montgomery in reference to burglary of a building. Upon arrival they met with the complainant who advised that when he arrived at the residence (under construction) he noticed the front door was open. He advised there were 6 door w/frames and 15 drawer guides missing. Estimated value of stolen property is $1,125. This case referred to CID
On 1/11/08 Deputy J. Herman was dispatched to Nichols Sawmill Rd. Magnolia in reference to theft of a motor vehicle. He arrived on location and met with the complainant who provided him with the information for the report. Estimated value of the 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe is $5,000.00. Value of the company Nextell cell phone in the vehicle $120. This case referred to CID.
On 1/12/08 Deputy T. R. Slusher was dispatched to Alford Rd., Magnolia in reference burglary of a habitation. When Deputy Slusher arrived he met with the complainant who stated that someone had broken a window and entered his residence. The residence is being renovated and is not occupied at this time. A variety of tools were stolen from the residence. Estimated loss is approximately $1,780.00 (tools, broken window, and microwave). This case referred to CID.
On 1/12/08 Deputy E. Diaz along with Deputy G. Kerr was dispatched to Weakley Way in Pinehurst in reference to a theft. Upon arrival they met with the complainant who advised the A.C. unit at his rental property had been stolen. Cost to replace the unit is $3,000.00. This case referred to CID.
On 1/12/08 Deputy E. Diaz along with Deputy G. Kerr was dispatched to Camwood, Magnolia in reference to burglary of a motor vehicle. When they arrived they met with the complainant who stated a Rugar handgun and $1,200 in cash had been stolen from a 2005 Ford F-150 truck parked in the front driveway of the residence. Total loss reported at $1,900. This case referred to CID.
On 1/14/08 Deputy T. Messina was dispatched to Pine Knott, Magnolia in reference to theft of a motor vehicle and credit cards. When Deputy Messina arrived on location he spoke with the complainant who advised her vehicle and credit cards had been stolen by a friend’s daughter (who had called asked to spend the night at the home). Deputy Messina obtained information for the report. Estimated value of the 1996 Mercury Marquis is approximately $3,000. This case referred to CID.
On 1/14/08 Deputy J. Urban was dispatched to a criminal mischief call on Elk Trace Parkway in Montgomery. Upon his arrival he met with the complainant who stated when he arrived at work in the morning he was told by his crew that several pieces of equipment had been damaged. Windows and ignitions were broken on an off-road truck, track-hoe, and a loader. Estimated dollar damage is $5,600. This case referred to CID.
On 1/14/08 Deputy T. R. Slusher was dispatched to FM 149 in Magnolia in reference to burglary of a habitation and burglary of motor vehicles. When Deputy Slusher arrived he met with the complainant who stated the single- wide mobile home is currently unoccupied and the last time he was at the location was 11/25/07. When he arrived on today’s date he observed that someone had removed tires and wheels from a 1993 Jeep in the front yard. They also removed a radiator and a/c compressor from a 1985 Cadillac parked in the front yard. Unknown suspect(s) had also entered the residence and removed copper wiring from it, stole interior air conditioner coil, removed two window a/c units and took all the copper from them and stole a leather sofa. Total estimated loss is approximately $17,200. This case referred to CID
District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)
January 8, 2008 @ 7:00 am. Deputy D. Wiesepape responded to a Welfare check on a woman on Twin Circles Drive. While at the home the woman (complainant) was going to be transported to the hospital due to an overdose of drugs. There was a male (suspect) passed out in the same room. After the complainant was treated at the hospital it was determined that no one was to be inside the home. As the suspect was gathering his belongings the deputy saw him trying to hide a clear plastic bag with several pills in it. After checking the pills they were identified as being Xanax. The suspect was arrested and placed in the Montgomery County Jail . He was charged with a felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. It was discovered that the suspect had been arrested before for drugs. His bond was set at $6,500.
January 8, 2008 @ 11:53 pm. Deputy J. Farmer and Cpl. D. Wilkins responded to a Robbery call in the 16200 block of Hwy. 105 West. The complainant who was working at a convenience store said that two white male suspects entered the store. One of the suspects went to the rest room and the other went to the counter and bought a tire gage and a pack of cigarettes. While at the counter one of the suspects told the complainant that he had a 9mm pistol in his pocket and for him to give him all the money. The complainant laid the money till on the counter and the suspects stole all of the 5’s, 10’s and 20 dollar bills. They then casually walked out of the store. The surveillance tape was collected and turned in to the crime lab. The suspects were driving a bluish purple in color four door vehicle. The Detectives were contacted and arrived at the scene. The scene was then turned over to the Detectives.
January 12, 2008 @ 12:57 am. Deputy N. Jordan responded to a Theft call in the 12800 block of Walden Road. The complainant said he parked his pick up truck in the parking lot of a bar and while he was inside the bar unknown suspect(s) stole $2,207 worth of golf clubs. No one saw what happen. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.
January 14, 2008 @ 5:10 am. Deputy J. Wienke responded to a Burglary of a Business call in the 12900 block of Hwy. 105 West. The complainant advised he closed his business at 10:00 pm the previous night and everything was secure. Deputy Wienke discovered the front door glass to be broken out. There was shattered glass both inside and outside the business. The unknown suspect(s) stole twenty five cartons of cigarettes and five boxes of cigars along with $150 to $200 dollars of loose change. The surveillance video caught pictures of the suspect(s). There was a total loss of $1,475. This case will be referred to the Detective Division for follow up.
District 6 – Lt. Tom Ray (Town Center)
On 01/12/08, 1200 hours and 2121 hours, two shoplifters were detained at 1201 Lake Woodlands and arrested for Theft, M/B.
