District 1 – Lt. Darrel Conn (North County)

On 01/01/08 Deputy Wroten was dispatched to the 10,000 block of Pecan Street, in Willis, in reference to a disturbance. On arrival, it was reported that two occupants of the residence were at home when (3) three known individuals rushed into the home uninvited and began assaulting the two residents. All suspects were gone on the officer’s arrival. The homeowners reported minor injuries and damage to the home. This case has been referred to the CID Division for further investigation and positive identification on the three suspects. Case is open.

On 01/03/08 Corporal Bonner was dispatched to Highway 105 East at Crockett Martin, in Conroe, to meet with a reportee in reference to stolen copper wire. The reportee advised that a large radio wave antenna had been damaged when suspect(s) forced through a fenced area and removed approximately 150 feet of copper grounding cable and (7) seven bus bars; a reported loss of $3500. This case is referred to the CID Division for additional investigation.

On 01/03/08 Deputy Rodriguez was dispatched to the 10,000 block of Royal Tricia, in Conroe, in reference to a Criminal Mischief. The homeowner had reportedly arrived home and found that the mail box had apparently been completely destroyed by some unknown explosive device or fireworks. The complainant also found that the garage door had visual damage burn spots which indicated that fire works had apparently been fired at the home. Estimated damage totaled approximately $350. This case has been referred to the Montgomery County Fire Marshall’s Office as an Arson investigation.

District 2 – Lt. Andrew Eason (South County/Woodlands)

Woodlands

On 1/5/08, Deputies J. Barber and P. Sibille, were dispatched to Ranch Lake Dr. for a Family Violence call. Upon completing their investigation they attempted to place a W/F024 into custody for Assault Family Violence M/A, during which time she began to resist the officers. The W/F kicked at the officers hitting one in the face. The W/F was then also charged with Assault on a Peace Officer F/3 and Resisting Arrest M/A. The W/F was transported to female booking.

On 1/1/08, Deputy F. Cano, was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle crash involving an intoxicated driver at Panther Creek and Tangle Brush. A W/M028 was arrested and charged with DWI- M/B.

On 1/2/08, Deputies G. Fruge and S. Mullis, viewed several traffic violations made by a driver in the area of Grogans Mill and Lakefront. Upon making a traffic stop and investigating a W/M028 was arrested and charged with DWI- M/B.

District 2

On 12/24/07, Sgt B. Herring, made a routine traffic stop for violations in the block of 26000 IH 45. The W/F040 driver was arrested and charged with DWI- M/B. A W/M040 passenger was also arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana M/B and Public Intoxication M/C.

On 12/29/07, Deputies M. Uber and G. Fruge, were dispatched to an Attempt to Locate on a suspect in a hit and run. After making a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle and completing a field investigation a B/M046 and B/M047 were arrested and each charged with DWI- M/B. The B/M’s had switched drivers after the crash, placing both behind the wheel.

On 1/1/08, Deputy R. Moody, made a routine traffic stop for violations in the area of IH 45 and Woodlands Parkway. The W/M032 driver was arrested and charged with DWI- M/B

On 1/1/08, Deputy M. Uber, assisted in a traffic violation in the area of IH 45 and Sawdust. The H/M049 driver was arrested and charged with DWI- M/B, Possession of Marijuana- M/B, and Failure to Identify M/B.

On 1/1/08, Deputy M. Uber, was dispatched to the Whataburger restaurant at 316 Sawdust Rd. in reference to a W/F027 in the drive-thru crashing into the vehicles in front and behind her. The W/F027 was arrested and charged with DWI 2nd– M/A.

On 1/7/08, Deputies D. Wallace and K. Christensen, were en route to a BMV report when they located the suspects at a Jack in the Box drive-thru. A W/M029 was arrested and charged with BMV- M/A, Possession of a Stolen Firearm SJF, and Possession of Firearm by a Felon SJF. A W/F033 was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance >1 gram (Xanex)- SJF, Possession of a Stolen Firearm- SJF, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon- SJF, BMV- M/A.

On 12/30/07, Deputy C. Roberts, was dispatched to the Academy store at 25010 IH 45 for a shoplifter in custody. DPS Trooper M. Franklin had been near the store when he observed a B/M032 exit the store and the security alarm sound. Franklin had to chase the B/M after advising him to stop. The B/M was detained for Deputy Roberts. The B/M032 was arrested and charged with Theft- SJF and Evading- M/B.

On 1/1/08, Deputy J. Gonzales, was conducting routine patrol in the area of Sawdust Rd when he observed a W/F and W/M sitting outside 19th Hole Bar and Grill inside a truck. He made contact with the occupants and conducted an investigation. The W/F035 was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance- SJF. The W/M037 was released following the field investigation.

District 3 – Lt. Jim Fleming (East County

On December 31, Deputy C. Evans was dispatched to the 20400 block of Ravenwood Drive in reference to a family violence in progress call. On arrival the Deputy met with the male complainant who stated he and his girl friend had been out and gotten intoxicated. After going to bed the female began kicking the male on his back causing bruising. The male got his sister to help control the female. The female was very agitated and was cursing and threatening to both of them. The 27 year old female from New Caney was arrested at 1:39am and transported to jail.

On December 31, Deputy A. Cross was sent to the 12100 block of N. Lakewood Drive in reference to an assault family violence call. The Deputy met with a female complainant who stated that her husband had been drinking all day. He took all her money out of her purse and attempted to take her car. When she stopped him, he grabbed by the throat and choked her and grabbed her by the shirt and threw on the ground. The female had red marks on each side of her neck. The 43 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 5:57pm and transported to jail.

On January 1, Deputy A. Cross was notified of a family violence call in the 1800 block of Peach Creek Valley Drive. On arrival the Deputy met with the male complainant who advised his wife was intoxicated and struck him with her keys on the face causing a laceration. The 40 year old female from Cleveland was arrested at 7:08pm and transported to jail.

On January 1, Deputy C. Turrentine was sent to the 20500 block of Leonard Street in reference to a family violence call. The Deputy was advised that a male on location was beating up three persons. The Deputy located the suspect in a locked bedroom. All three victims had visible injuries with one being transported to the hospital. The 22 year old male from New Caney was arrested at 11:23pm and transported to jail.

On January 3, Deputy P. Rex observed a red truck in the parking lot at FM 1485 and Baptist Encampment Road. A male was observed inside the vehicle and was passed out. The male was highly intoxicated. Also the male was found to have a family violence assault warrant out of San Jacinto County. The 46 year old male was arrested at 12:04am and transported to jail.

On January 3, Corporal D. Miller was notified of a disturbance in progress in the 20900 block of Buck Knoll. The Deputy met with the male complainant who stated he and his girlfriend got into a verbal argument and she hit on his face with her fist. She then threw a ceramic duck at him striking him under the eye. She threw other furniture objects at him causing him further injury.The 23 year old female from Splendora was arrested at 1:50pm and transported to jail.

On January 4, Deputy C. Murray was sent to the 13400 block of Morgan Drive in reference to a welfare check on two subjects. Both the male and female on location were found to be highly intoxicated. The 28 year old male from Splendora and 39 year old female from New Caney were arrested at 12:04am and transported to jail.

On January 4, Deputy G. Jackson was dispatched to the 21600 block of Dunn Street in reference to a family disturbance in progress call. On arrival the Deputy met with the two male complainants (father and son) who advised a male that lives with them had accused the son of damaging his vehicle. The male then struck the father with a closed fist cutting his face near the ear. The male then struck the younger complainant with his fist on the face causing a laceration. The 30 year old male from Porter was arrested at 4:00am and transported to jail.

On January 4, Deputy A. White responded to the 7800 block of Hidden Acres Drive in reference to a stabbing. On arrival the Deputy was advised a male had been stabbed during a fight. The person that was stabbed was the boyfriend of the female whose husband did the stabbing. The male that was stabbed had attempted to defend himself by hitting the other male with a long pipe. The male had been stabbed in the chest and was transported to the hospital. The suspect, a 26 year old male from Cleveland, was arrested at 9:00pm and transported to jail.

On January 6, Deputy C. Evans was dispatched to the Wal-Mart in Porter in reference to a theft. The Deputy met with the loss prevention officer who was detaining a male on location. The male had taken merchandise in the amount of $203.82 and left the store without paying. It was also learned the male had an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle warrant out of Liberty County. The 36 year old male, unknown address was arrested at 5:35pm and transported to jail.

Warrants served:

A 58 year old male from Porter was arrested at 9:47am, December 31, in the 19200 block of Timberland by Deputy J. Amstutz for a deadly conduct warrant and a cruelty to animals warrant out of Montgomery County. The male was on the fugitive warrant list. The male was transported to jail.

A 67 year old female from Porter was arrested at 1:24am, January 2, in the 18400 block of Choctaw Drive by Deputy C. Evans for a failure to appear warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a welfare concern. The female was transported to jail.

A 39 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 5:30pm, January 4, in the 16500 block of Oakwood by Deputy J. Armstrong for a motion to revoke probation warrant out of Walker County. The Deputy was investigating a family violence call. The male was transported to jail.

A 26 year old male from Cleveland was arrested at 10:08pm, January 4, in the area of Hwy 242 and Old Houston Road by Deputy R. Layman for a debit card abuse warrant out of Liberty County. The Deputy had stopped the male on a traffic violation. The male was transported to jail.

A 19 year old male from Splendora was arrested at 12:45pm, January 6, in the 25300 block of White Oak Lane by Deputy J. Amstutz for a theft warrant out of Montgomery County. The Deputy was investigating a vehicle disturbance. The male was transported to jail.

A 37 year old female from Tomball was arrested at 6:40pm, January 6, in the area of Hwy 59 and Kingwood Drive by Deputy J. Bruce for a possession of a controlled substance probation violation warrant out of Harris County. The Deputy had stopped the female on traffic. The female was transported to jail.

District 4 – Lt. Art Galloway (West County)

On 1/1/08 Deputy J. Urban was dispatched to Theft of a motor vehicle on Princess Ann Ct., Montgomery, TX. The complainant (owner of the vehicle) stated his vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot at the Super 8 Motel on I-45 in Spring TX, but he had to return to his home in order to retrieve the paperwork for the vehicle to make the report. The case was referred to Auto Theft Task Force.

On 1/1/08 Deputy Suarez was dispatched to Hazy Meadow in Magnolia in reference to theft. Upon arrival he met with the complainant who stated that when he went outside to clean up around his yard he discovered several tools were missing from his carport. The combined value of the stolen tools is approximately $570. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

On 1/3/08 Deputy A. Gurka was dispatched to 37000 FM 149, Magnolia, TX in reference to Theft (copper wire) from AT&T. Upon arrival at the location she met with a service man for AT&T who stated that one hundred feet of six hundred pair wire containing copper had been stolen. The estimated value of the wire is $10,000. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

On 1/4/08 Deputy T. Slusher was dispatched to37000 FM 149, Magnolia, TX in reference to Criminal Mischief. Upon arrival he met with a manager with AT&T who stated that a three hundred foot length of cable had been cut from the pole and was lying on the ground. The unknown suspect had cut the cable and left numerous tools at the scene. Deputy Slusher obtained the information for the report and retrieved all of the tools. Estimated loss (damaged telephone cable) is $2,500. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

On 1/5/08 Deputy T. Slusher was dispatched to Pine Forest in Pinehurst, TX in reference to a theft call. Upon arrival at the location he met with the complainant who is the owner of the property (which is vacant). When he arrived to check on the property he noticed that someone had removed all of the copper piping and cooling fins from the air conditional coil located on the back exterior of the residence. Estimated cost to replace Aire-Flo air conditioner coil is $1,500. Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

On 1/5/08 Deputy K. Krolczyk was dispatched to 31350 Hwy 249, Pinehurst, TX in reference to Criminal Mischief. When she arrived on location she met with the complainants and obtained information for the report. The was damage to 4 rollup storage building doors ($1,600.00), damaged entry door to a Cruise Master motor home ($300.00), and damage to an entry door on a Cedar Creek travel trailer ($300). Case referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

On 1/7/08 Deputy T. Messina was dispatched to a theft call at 22619 Rainfern in Magnolia, TX. Upon is arrival he met with the complainant who advised that approximately $760 worth of fishing equipment had been stolen from the inside of his boat which was parked in the driveway. This case will be referred to Criminal Investigation Division.

District 5 – Lt. Don Lacy (Northwest County)

December 31, 2007 @ 5:02 pm. Deputy J. Enloe responded to an Assault) Family Violence) call in the 14500 block of Diamondhead North Street. The two complainants said that their wife (mother) came home intoxicated and started a fight with the daughter. The husband called for the Sheriff Office to respond. When Deputy Enloe arrived at the scene he started talking to the suspect at a neighbor’s house. He was taking the suspect back to her house to find out what had happen. Once there the suspect became very upset and had to be restrained. The deputy found out that the suspect had assaulted her daughter and left marks on her. The suspect was arrested and started resisting arrest. She struck and kicked the deputy several times. The deputy had to call for back up. Once at the jail the deputy found several narcotics in the suspect’s purse. She was charged with Assault (Family Violence) Resisting Arrest and five counts of Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility. Bond was set at $3,700.

January 5, 2008 @ 9:15 am. Deputy J. Blackwell responded to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle (boat) in the 12000 block of Melville Drive. The complainant told the deputy that unknown suspect(s) had entered his boat which was moored in a boat slip and stole a GPS Locator, Playstation 2, knife and a check book. The total loss was $1,430. There were no signs of forced entry. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.

January 4, 2008 @ 10:28 am. Deputy J. Blackwell responded to a Burglary of a Building call in the 22400 block of Hwy. 105 West. Unknown suspect(s) cut a hole in a fence that surrounds the business and stole over $3,963 worth of brass and brass fittings. This is the second time this business has been broke into. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.

January 5, 2008 @ 12:30 am. Deputy A. Neeley responded to a Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon in the 200 block of Spring Stream Bend. The complainant had been taken to the hospital. Deputy Neeley went to the hospital where the complainant told him that he and his friend was driving down the road and saw the suspect walking. The suspect and the complainant have a on going dispute over another issue. The complainant stopped his vehicle and approached the suspect and then the suspect pulled out a knife and cut the complainant on his right arm. The complainant filled charges. This case will be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.

District 6 – Lt. Tom Ray (Town Center)

On 12/22/07, Sgt. B. Herring, assisted with a routine traffic stop for violations in the area of 1201 Lake Woodlands. The W/M048 driver was arrested and charged with DWI- M/B.

On 1/4/08, Deputy P. Cassidy, was dispatched to 1200 Timberloch Flemings restaurant in reference to a Robbery. The victim advised 2 W/M15-16 and 1 H/M15-16 approached him while he was walking with friends on the waterway. The victim stated the H/M demanded money from him or they would injure him. The victim complied and called the Sheriff’s Office to report the crime. The case has been referred to Detectives.
