CLEVELAAND POLICE PRESS RELEASE:
The Cleveland Police Department arrested 5 more suspects in the sexual assault investigation involving the under age child. The names of the suspects in custody are Jared Glenn McPherson, 18 of Cleveland, Kelvin Rashad King, 21 of Cleveland, Marcus Anthony Porchia, 26 of Cleveland, Devo Shaun Green, 20 of Cleveland, Xavier King, 17 of Cleveland, and Eric Bernard McGowan, 19 of Cleveland. McGowan was in custody prior to the indictment in the Liberty County Jail for other non related charges. There have been 10 suspects arrested thus far in the investigation.
All suspects have been indicted for the offense of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child under 14 and arrested pursuant to those indictments. Texas Penal Code Sec. 22.021. The charge is a felony of the first degree and punishable by imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for life, or for any term of not more than 99 years or less than 25 years.
Cleveland Police have arrest warrants and are searching for 3 other suspects in connection with the investigation. Carlos Bernard Ligons, B/M, 22, Jamarcus Norris Napper B/M, 18, and Cedric De Ray Scott, B/M, 27.

There are more arrests expected in the near future, but due to the nature, sensitivity, and magnitude of this investigation the media will receive limited information at this time. Further information will be released as the investigation permits.
