On 2/16/16, around 4pm, Pct. 4 NIT (Narcotics Interdiction Team) received a tip about several stolen vehicles possible being on location near the end of the 20100 block of Campbell Rd., in New Caney, TX. Upon arrival deputies made contact with several individuals, and located two stolen vehicles in the woods. The vehicles were confirmed stolen, one from Montgomery County and one from Polk County.
Pct. 4 currently has a person of interest they are looking for but not releasing the name at this time and the investigation is still open.
Constable Hayden stated, the new office website has been a great tool that allows people to easily provide tips that we follow up on and in turn make East Montgomery County a great place. The NIT Team has been able to located and recover 6 stolen vehicles in the last 6 days.
