MOTHER ARRESTED ON HER 9TH THEFT CHARGE!

On August 19, 2019, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the HEB Store located in the 7300 block of Louetta Road in reference to a theft. Upon deputies arriving, the Loss Prevention Officer stated that he observed a female suspect conceal over $300.00 worth of merchandise in her handbag and child’s car seat. The suspect then proceeded to exit the business without paying. When the Loss Prevention Officer confronted her she stated she was told she could not be arrested for theft if she had her children with her. Constable Deputies detained and identified her as Elizabeth Tabora. All of the stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to the business. Child Protection Services was contacted and the children were released to a guardian who arrived on the scene. Further investigation revealed that this was her ninth theft charge. “Elizabeth Tabora was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Felony Theft. Her bond was set at $1,500.00 out of the 351st District Court. – Constable Mark Herman
