Just before 3 pm, a 16-year-old female was traveling west on FM 1097 approaching Buffalo Springs Drive. As she attempted to turn into the Shell Station, a 34-year-old male driving a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle was eastbound and slammed into her. The driver of the motorcycle who did have a helmet was pronounced deceased at the scene. Montgomery Police worked the crash as DPS assisted with traffic control. Montgomery County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Jason Dunn ordered Eickenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the victim to the Montgomery Coutny Forensic Center for autopsy. FM 1097 eastbound reopened just before 5:30 p.m.
