MOTORCYCLE DRIVER INVOLVED IN SATURDAY MOTORCYCLE FATAL IDENTIFIED

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers responded to a two-vehicle fatality crash this afternoon on Old Houston Rd. in Montgomery County.

The preliminary crash investigation indicates at approximately 12:42 p.m., a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling southbound on Old Houston Rd. when it failed to control its speed, lost control and slid into oncoming traffic.  A 2007 Dodge Chrysler 300 was traveling northbound and tried to take evasive action but was unable to avoid a collision.

The driver of the Harley Davidson motorcycle was identified as 62-year-old Tommy Hinkle of Magnolia, TX. Hinkle was pronounced deceased on scene by EMS. 

The driver of the Dodge Chrysler was identified as 24-year-old Jesus Cordova Maldonado of Conroe, TX.  Maldonado was released from the scene without injuries.

This crash remains under investigation.  No additional information is available at this time.
