Just after 10 p.m. Saturday night Montgomery County Hospital District was called to assist Waller County EMS and Tri-County Fire Department on a head-on crash involving a motorcycle and a Chevrolet pickup.
When they arrived at the intersection of Joseph Road and Pinewood Valley they found the 58, year-old motorcycle rider was dead on the scene.
Texas Department of Public Safety investigated the crash and determined the pickup was northbound on Joseph Road and failed to yield right of way as he turned left onto Pinewood Valley. The motorcycle then struck him.
The investigation is continuing and officials have not released any names as of yet. It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol are involved in either party.
