Multi-Agency Effort Busts Habitual Offender With Drugs & Multiple Guns

Early Thursday morning, deputies with the office of Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable David Hill, along with Texas Department of Public Safety CID Agents, and the Grimes County District Attorney’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant at 17129 Youpon Dr. in Grimes County.

According to Capt. Billy Masden, the suspect, William Taylor Stevens, had been distributing multiple pounds of crystal methamphetamine into Montgomery County and Grimes County.  Upon execution of the search warrant, Stevens was found to be in possession of over 9 ounces of crystal methamphetamine, and approximately 5 ounces of marijuana along with multiple firearms.

Precinct 5 Deputies had arrested Stevens in August for possession of a large amount of methamphetamine and marijuana.  Stevens was out on bond for those Montgomery County charges, but is now back in jail in Grimes County on a $120, 000 bond.
