On February 16, 2018, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to 2311 Kylie Court in Spring, concerning a 911 call that came in stating a woman had been shot. Upon arrival, a 28 year old identified Jessica Leos was found deceased. Her husband, Rafael Leos, 32 year old was arrested and taken into custody for murder.
Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded and are continuing the investigation.

Just after midnight Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constables and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Kylie Ct. in the Spring Trails Subdivision. A male called and reported he had accidentally shot his wife and she wasn’t moving. Once they arrived it was quickly determined the 28-year-old female was deceased. The husband, age 32, was detained and questioned. A search warrant was secured for the home and detectives spent most of the night combing through evidence. The couples pre-teen daughter and dog were home at the time but did not witness the shooting. Just before dawn the male who has not yet been identified was arrested for the murder. According to Lt. Spencer with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the couple had engaged in a dispute when the husband shot and killed her.
