On the afternoon of February 19, 2017 Tyler Christian Green walked up to Fabian Ramone Smith, 29, as he sat in his vehicle at a strip center at 5344 FM 1960 in Atascocita. Green, wearing a trench coat and top hat fired several shots then ran from the scene. Video cameras at Jumpalooza Indoor Jump Playground captured images of Green. On February 23, 2017 Green, age 24, was arrested where he worked in Nederland, Texas near Beaumont. He was jailed on a $50,000 bond and refused to talk to investigators. On April 17, 2017, he was released on a $40,000 bond. As part of his bond several conditions had to be met. Green violated those conditions including, failing to provide a urine sample, using controlled substances or alcohol and failing to pay fees for drug and alcohol testing. After a court appearance on August 1, he was ordered to provide a sample and failed to do so, He did however on August 3, 2017. That sample tested positive for Opiates and was diluted. On August 10, 2017, a judge signed a warrant for his arrest. The new bond was set at $120,000. On Thursday, August 17, 2017, Green who lives on Sunset Path South in Montgomery was arrested by Conroe Police in the 15200 block of SH 105 West. He is now in the Montgomery County Jail on the original murder warrant with a $120,000 bond.
