...Wind Advisory Through Late Tonight Inland, Into Friday Near
The Coast...

.Gusty northwest to north winds will continue tonight. Through 3
am sustained winds 20 to 30 mph can be expected in the advisory
area. Gusts as high as 30-40 mph will be possible. After 3 am
winds over the inland areas should gradually diminish and the
strong gusts should lessen. Near the coast the winds will continue
overnight and through the morning hours.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CST FRIDAY...

* EVENT...Strong and gusty winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 30
  to 40 mph from the northwest and north.

* TIMING...The strong sustained winds will be gradually
  diminishing after 3 am but gusty conditions will likely
  redevelop after 8 am.

* IMPACT...Unsecured lightweight items could be tossed about by
  strong winds. Drivers on east-west oriented roads should prepare
  for strong crosswinds. Drivers of high profile vehicles should
  be particularly cautious. Isolated power outages possible.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drivers of vans...campers...trailers...and other high-profile
vehicles should be alert to the danger of these winds...
especially when driving along east to west oriented roads.
