Windy conditions are expected along the coast through Tuesday morning along the coast, and over the coastal waters through Wednesday. Near or subfreezing temperatures are possible for parts of the region on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, along with bitterly cold wind chills.
Following yesterday’s cold front, gusty winds and much cooler temperatures are in store for Southeast Texas. A Wind Advisory is in effect for areas along the coast through 1 pm Tuesday as wind gusts up to 30 to 40mph are possible. Cloud cover tonight will help keep us a bit warmer, but these clouds will clear out Tuesday night setting the stage for our first potential freeze of the season for areas north of Huntsville. Even colder conditions are expected Wednesday night with higher chances of subfreezing temperatures for areas north of Huntsville. Wind chills Tuesday and Wednesday night will be down into the 20s and 30s for most of the area as well.
