Pct. 4 Constable Herman’s Office issued the following statement:

Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s deputies are on scene assisting the Cy-Fair Fire Department at a residential fire in the 14800 block of Spring Walk Lane at Hollow Branch Court in Cypress.

A vehicle inside the garage caught fire, causing the garage to become fully engulfed in flames. Residents safely evacuated the two-story home as deputies and firefighters arrived on scene.

• Expect emergency vehicles and traffic delays in the area as first responders continue their operations. Please avoid the area and give firefighters plenty of room to work!
