- Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop across the area today. A thin, broken line of thunderstorms is forecast to move into parts of the Brazos Valley and Piney Woods region late this afternoon and evening. A few storms could pulse up to strong-severe levels with the primary threat being strong wind gusts.
Fire Weather Risk Sunday:
- Combination of gusty north winds, low humidity and dry fuel may warrant Red Flag Warnings should we escape substantial rainfall today/tonight.
