At 159 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Willowbrook, or near Greater Greenspoint, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Northwestern Pasadena, Pearland, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Conroe,
Rosenberg, Stafford, South Houston, Bellaire, Humble, West University
Place, Katy, Richmond, Galena Park, Tomball, Jacinto City, western
Liberty, Jersey Village, Dayton, and northwestern Manvel.

…FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY EVENING…
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE…A portion of southeast Texas, including the following
areas, Brazos, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery, Northern
Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity and Walker.
* WHEN…Through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks
and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected to
impact the area tomorrow. Portions of the area have received
2-4″ of rainfall, and an additional 1-3″ with some locally
higher totals is possible through Monday. With soils already
saturated from the multiple previous heavy rainfall events
that have recently impacted the area, Flash Flood Guidance
remains relatively low.
