Montgomery County may experience damaging winds and possibly dime-sized hail in some areas, as a storm moves into the county from the north, according to the National Weather Service. Much of the northern part of Montgomery County is without power because of the incoming storm. The NWS Houston / Galveston issued a Special Weather Statement regarding the wind and hail. That statement expires at 4:15 p.m. However, the severe thunderstorm watch continues through 10 p.m.
