At 530 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over northeastern Atascocita, or near Kingwood, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Humble, Dayton, Kingwood, Crosby, Lake Houston Dam, Lake Houston, Atascocita, East Little York / Homestead, East Houston, Houston Gardens, and eastern Bush Intercontinental Airport.
