Alert: At 357 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Montgomery to near Washington. Movement was south at 15 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Tomball, Hempstead, Prairie View, Pinehurst, The Woodlands, Hockley, Waller, Magnolia, Pine Island, Montgomery, Stagecoach, Todd Mission, The Woodlands Pavillion, Dobbin, Monaville, Dacus, and Plantersville.
Instructions: If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
