May 2, 1968 – September 5, 2024 56 years old Born in Baltimore, Maryland Raised in Texas
In Loving Memory of Aniel who passed away in Montgomery Texas with his loving daughter, son and wife by his side on September 5, 2024 at 10:54 pm.
Aniel started his journey-off on May 2, 1968, the son of Jackie Fecik and Peter Fecik along with one sibling Denise Dragovich. Playing football and baseball as a young child and teen, the air force caught his attention. After a year he became discouraged and began his education in the medical field as an EMT. Soon after he became EMT, Aniel knew he wanted more responsibility and started doing volunteer work at the local fire department in Austin, Texas. He made many of these calls with his best friend, Calvin Simpson, but anybody who knew Aniel knows that wasn’t enough excitement for him. After the move to Madison County, he became a police officer running calls in his patrol car and serving the community of Madison County for many years.
Aniel and his family found a true home in Montgomery County where he proudly served this area as a Patrol Officer, a Jailer, a Bailiff, a transport team member and in the U.S MARSHALL SERVICE. His life was full of adventure and helping others. He would gladly give you the shirt off his back if this was what you needed.
Aniel was a loving husband to Ashley Fecik and father to Robert Brown (Mikey), Haley Fecik, and Ty Fecik, and grandfather to his precious grandbabies, Reighly-Paige Fecik and Raylnn Swearingen. The girls did a great job of making him laugh and act silly where Mikey and Ty were determined to get him serious when it was time to go fishing or hunting or load up the family and go mudding.
Aniel loved his family and friends like no other, as the days grew shorter and his memory began to fade, the only thing he could talk about was whatever memory popped into his head that day. He loved sharing all his stories with his grandchildren and children even if they had heard it 100 times.
Aniel is survived by his wife Ashley Fecik; mother-in-law, Brenda Arlington Weatherly; Children, Robert Brown, Haley Fecik, and Ty Fecik; Parents, Jackie Fecik and Peter Fecik; sister Denise Dragovich and spouse Tommy Dragovich their son Derek Dragovich; brother-in -law, Bryan Puckett and spouse, Kerri Puckett their children, Collin Puckett, Colton Puckett, Chelsea Puckett and Amber Puckett; brother-in -law, Tad Puckett and spouse Tamie Puckett and their children, Tab Puckett and Teager Puckett and his best friend, Calvin Simpson and family; along with numerous other aunts and uncles and friends. Aniel Fecik loved fishing, hunting, BBQ, boating, hanging out with friends and listening to some good music and just relaxing. He is dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
