OBITUARY-CLARENCE EDWARD MORGAN JR.

Clarence Edward “Ed” Morgan, Jr., born April 21, 1950, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Edward Morgan, Sr.

Ed graduated from Odessa High School in 1968 and began his career with R.J. Gallagher. In 1976, he moved to Houston, Texas, where he continued his professional journey, ultimately retiring from U.S. Metals in 2023.

A dedicated member of the Northwest Volunteer Fire Department, Ed joined in October 1978 and served in multiple roles, including Lieutenant, Senior Captain, Assistant Chief, and Chief, before retiring in the early 2000s. His leadership and commitment left a lasting impact on both the department and the community.

Ed is survived by his loving wife, Donna Golden Morgan; his children, Salena Morgan and her husband, Danny Pipes, Justin Morgan; and his granddaughter, Gracie Wakeland. He is also survived by his mother, Lena Morgan, and his sister, Patricia Raymond of Odessa, Texas.

A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., both at Klein Funeral Home in Tomball, Texas. The service will be followed by a reception at Northwest Station 44, 12820 T.C. Jester Blvd, Houston, TX 77038.

Ed will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at De Leon City Cemetery in De Leon Texas.
