OBITUARY DONALD LEE HUSK

Donald Lee Husk left a lasting impact on all who knew him when he left this world on February 19, 2021. Donald, Don, Dad, Daddy, Big Daddy, Grandpa, PoohPooh…It didn’t matter what you called him, to know him was to love him. He made us laugh until we cried and would give you the keys to his truck if he thought it would help you. Don was a self-proclaimed “bada**” but he was really the biggest teddy bear that always made your day better when he was around. God broke the mold when Don was born to the late Donald Husk and Mary Rackley on January 11, 1957. He got his first job at the age of 13 to help support his mom, whom he loved very much. He continued to spoil her until she passed. In 1978, Don fell head over heels with Kathi and after only 18 days they eloped in Las Vegas! They had 42 fun and loving years together. Don was a collector of many things. Though his most prized collection was his family. He leaves behind his wife Kathi, his daughter Kindra Steely & husband Ty, and his son Jason Husk. Don relished his role as Grandpa/PoohPooh to 7 amazing grandchildren: Kaitlyn Floyd, Beka Oetker and husband Chance, Braxton Husk, Dylan Steely, Swayze Steely, Mackie Husk, & Jax Husk. He was also excited be a Great Grandpa/PoohPooh. We are sure he hopes he taught at least one of his grandkids to cuss properly. Donald also leaves behind his brother Terry Husk & Jody along with many more loved family and friends. Don was also a lover of animals. We hope he is sitting in his recliner watching his favorite shows in Heaven with his dogs on his lap. He was sadly preceded in death by his father, Donald; mother, Mary; stepfather, George; and 2 beautiful sisters, LaDawn and Sheryl. His brother Terry Husk &

Donald’s celebration of life will be held on March 20, 2021 at Klein Funeral Home on Main Street in Tomball, Texas from 1-4 PM. Come and go as you please.

One last request!!! When you drink a Mexican Coke or a margarita on the rocks remember to think of our Donald, Don, Dad, Daddy, Big Daddy, Grandpa, PoohPooh…
