Betty Lynn Melton Moore at the age of 71, passed away on Thursday, February 11th, 2021 at her home in Conroe, Texas. Betty was born on June 15th, 1949 and was the youngest sister of eight children.

Betty’s favorite pastime was her genealogy which she would work on for hours at a time. Betty was an amazing cook in the kitchen and enjoyed trying out new recipes. She had a great love for period movies and enjoyed adding to an extensive DVD collection. She was a proud Elvis Presley fan and was able to visit Graceland to pay homage to Mr. Presley. Betty adored nature and loved flowers of all kinds. Betty was also a dog lover and would spoil them endlessly.

One of the most significant characteristics of Betty was her work ethic. Betty worked in retail and sales as an associate at Walmart for 15 years. She would spend her time at work running circles around her 20-something-year-old coworkers every day for years and years. No one worked harder than Betty. One of the best things about Betty was that she showed kindness to everyone.

Betty is survived by her daughter Michele Lea Grabowski of Conroe, Texas; sister Minnie Ruth Hattenbach of Houston, Texas; sister Sarah Dorothy Cleveland of Yorktown, Texas; sister Edna Mae Davenport of Plantersville, Texas; numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
