Obituary for Kelli Renee Sanchez-Cruz
She was born January 5th, 1987 in Murphysboro, Illinois, to proud parents Kevin Ray Hollon Sr. and LaNeil Beth Vestal. She was preceded in death by daughter EmeryAna Echevarria. Kelli is survived by her grandmother Anna Vestal, mother LaNeil, father Kevin, step father Casey McClain, two sons Christian and Anthony, brother Kevin Hollon Jr and his wife Alexis Hollon, sisters Brittany Mars, Kammi Campbell, and Sarah Durbano, five nephews and four nieces.
Kelli spent her life caring for others, camping, journaling and spending time with friends and family. She loved learning new things and proving to herself and others she could accomplish anything she set her mind to. Kelli was compassionate and kind to people who needed it the most. She was a Certified Nurses Aide and she loved caring for the elderly. She saw only the best in people and her loyalty to those she loved was immeasurable. She had a sense of humor that made us roll with laughter and a smile that lit up every room she entered.
Born in Illinois, Kelli grew up in Utah and only recently moved to Texas to be with her family. She loved being with her family, especially her two boys Christian and Anthony. She was happiest during family gatherings. Kelli was a light in our family, and we are missing her dearly.
