Jeffery Gleen Smith, Sr. “Butch” got his angel wings after a long battle with pancreatic cancer on Feb. 11, 2018. He was born on June 10, 1947 to James T. and Lora F. Smith in Merkel, TX. Butch proudly served in the US Army in 1967-68. He made Willis, Texas his home where he met and married his wife of 41 years Carol Sue.
Butch is survived by his children; Custody, Lora, and Jeffery Jr., his grandchildren; Cheresa, Alejandra, Sabrina, Carmen, Kaye, Joel, Kenneth Jr., Ariann, McKenzey and Jaxson. Along with numerous other family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. He is proceeded in death by his daddy, momma, and brother. The family requests that you wear Dallas Cowboys shirts or purple for pancreatic cancer
