Montgomery County Precinct 4 deputies responded to Cutler Road about 2 a.m. Friday morning to assist Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department in locating three burglars at the Entergy Service Center.
Sheriff’s Department dispatch received a call from Entergy security that a perimeter alarm had gone off on the fence surrounding the complex in the 21000 block of US 59. In addition cameras on the property were watching the actors.
When deputies arrived nothing was found on the complex. However Oliver, the bloodhound with Precinct 4 along with Lt. Mark Seals found a hole in the fence and lying next to it in the weeds was 34-year-old Brian Dunn. He was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass.
The other two suspects were not found even though there was an extensive search of the building and thick brush near there.
Officials believe the trio was attempting to steal copper even though the wire in the facility used for power lines is aluminum. Nothing was taken.
