EAST MONTGOMERY COUNTY- A Cleveland man died from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident in Splendora on Wednesday.
Splendora Police said a 1998 Dodge pickup with a trailer was northbound on Hwy 59 around 3:30 p.m. when it struck the inside barrier. There were three occupants, including the driver, who was a 71-year-old black male and two passengers.
The passengers sustained non-life threatening injuries. EMS was transporting the driver to LBJ Hospital in Houston when he went into traumatic arrest. They instead took the man to Kingwood Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s name was not available as of this writing. Splendora Police are investigating.
