At 12:33am Friday three males entered the Valero Corner Store at FM 3083 and Albert Moorehead. All three had their heads covered and all with pistols. They robbed the store on an undisclosed amount of money. The store clerk at first thought it to be a joke until they pistol whipped him. While behind the counter the clerk was able to hit the alarm. In the process the store clerk was shot in the upper leg. He was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital in stable condition. Detectives have been on the scene most of the night. The second clerk was uninjured. At least four shots were fired inside the building. Detectives are now pouring video in an attempt to identify the suspects.
The three males left on foot. A white Ford Fusion is believed to be the vehicle used in the robbery. The plate on the Fusion is possibly FYL-9906.
Several hours after the robbery a call was made to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a welfare check on a missing juvenile just off FM 1314. Deputies in East Montgomery County District 3 arrived at the scene and realized the juvenile was one possibly involved. He was later located and taken to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for questioning. He was then arrested, magistrated by Montgomery County Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Spikes and taken to the Montgomery County Juvenile Facility.
The other suspects are still being sought.
If you spot the Ford Fusion FYL-9906 CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY.
