Montgomery County deputies are still on the scene of an overnight robbery that occurred at the Zipps Store on North Walker Road and SH 105. The location is across the street from the store known as “Sam’s Store” where in March of 2014 the owner Shamsuddin “Sam” Sadruddi was shot and killed after a robbery.
The suspects entered the Zipps Store store shortly after 2am. The two white males were masked and armed. They left with cash, cigarettes and several items from a glass case which they smashed. Detectives are working with video at this time in an attempt to get better information on the suspects.
