Tuesday afternoon, the Shenandoah Police Department was dispatched to what was initially reported as an assault. Upon arrival, officers determined it was a robbery in which suspects attacked an individual while attempting to steal personal items. Thanks to the swift response by Shenandoah officers, key information was quickly gathered and relayed to nearby agencies. A short time later, the suspect vehicle was located by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit in the 4100 block of FM 1960. Both the driver and the passenger were taken into custody and arrested for robbery.
