The Southeast Texas Patriot Guard Riders are best known for posthumously honoring veterans. Sunday was one of those rare occasions when the soldier was able to enjoy this unique group of people who devote so much of their time showing their respect and appreciation for those willing to offer the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Sunday was a “Send off Mission” for Corporal Michael Rachal, USMC, who is about to deploy to Afghanistan.
The event was also different because Rachal was the son of one of their own, Patriot Guard Rider Gina Deveny.
