Patton Village PD Shuts Down Dope House

On January 5, the Patton Village Police Department filed Possession of Narcotics charges against two residents of the City of Patton Village, with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

For the last two weeks, based on credible information received from Crime Stoppers, the Patton Village Police Department Narcotic Enforcement Team has been investigating a residence at 17618 Oak Hill in the City of Patton Village for possible narcotics trafficking. During the morning hours of January 5, officers from the Patton Village Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit made contact with that residence and conducted a search, locating the narcotics. Both suspects, 28-year-old Justin D. Reed and 39-year-old Jeffrey D. Jones were arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe.

Justin D. Reed is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Jeffrey D. Jones is charged with Possession of Marijuana.

Following the arrests, Patton Village Police Chief Joe Schultea issued a statement saying it is his agency’s “hope that the public will continue to pass information along to law enforcement and Montgomery County Crime Stoppers to aid us in reducing the narcotic trafficking” in the area.
