April 6, 2015, Montgomery County, TX — With standing room only, supporters crowded the North Montgomery County Community Center in Willis Thursday night for the Kick-Off Fundraiser for Philip Cash for Constable. He is a Republican candidate for Montgomery County Constable, Precinct 1.
The event featured live entertainment, an excellent catered dinner by Joe’s Pizza & Pasta, and silent and live auctions. In addition to the large crowd of supporters, Cash was joined by Master of Ceremonies, Jim Morris of Morris Builders and numerous elected officials, including: Sheriff Tommy Gage, County Judge Craig Doyal, Commissioner Mike Meador who lead the pledges, Commissioner Charlie Riley, District Attorney Brett Ligon, County Attorney J.D. Lambright, Precinct 2 Constable Gene Deforest, and Walker County Justice of The Peace Mark Holt.
Sheriff Tommy Gage spoke briefly about his personal experience with Cash in law enforcement as he enthusiastically endorsed Cash. Several candidates for office also attended the rally, including, but not limited to: Billy Beavers, candidate for Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constable; James Cox, candidate for Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constable; Trey Kirby, candidate for MISD Position #4; Rand Henderson, candidate for Montgomery County Sheriff.
