On March 13, 2025, deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance call in the 14000 block of Ella Blvd. Upon arriving, the suspect involved was detained and identified as Jaime Lara.

Further investigation revealed he broke into a residence, began looking for a male he was attempting to fight and in the process, damaged several items within the home. In addition, he was found to be in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine.

“Jaime Lara was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to commit Assault and Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver. He is awaiting bond out of the 179th District Court.” – Constable Mark Herman
