HARRIS COUNTY, TX – On Tuesday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested two men, following a burglary in progress response at an apartment complex in the 14000 block of Wunderlich Drive.
Responding to reports of a break-in, deputies learned that two men broke into an apartment and then fled the scene with stolen property. Deputies quickly located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The suspects, identified as Robert Bing and Travone Sims, were allegedly found in possession of approximately $2,500 worth of stolen items. Investigators also discovered Sims was on probation for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon.
“Both suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Burglary of Habitation,” stated Constable Mark Herman. “Robert Bing’s bond was set at $30,000 out of the 486th District Court, and Travone Sims’ bond was set at $15,000 out of the 180th District Court.”
