Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden reports for the dates of Dec. 1 – Dec. 8:

Montgomery County Constable Pct. 4 Deputies served 68 civil papers throughout East Montgomery County leaving 27 pending. Captain Moody served 1 writ and is in the process of serving 3 more.   Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s office made several arrests clearing 25 JP 4 warrants. They also arrested 4 persons for outstanding Montgomery County misdemeanor warrants, and 2 for outstanding felony warrants.

 

No Driver’s License- No Insurance- No Way!

9 vehicles were towed in East Montgomery County for no DL and no insurance and 10 citations were issued to the drivers for traffic violations. 7 other vehicles were towed after the driver’s were arrested during traffic stops.

 

Evading Arrest

On 12-04-09 at 8:30 a.m. Constable Hayden attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a blue ATV that was traveling down a public roadway (Fostoria Rd.) The driver of the ATV refused to stop and Constable Hayden gave chase. The pursuit lasted for several miles, that crossed into Liberty County. The driver of the ATV drove into a muddy wooded area, and left the ATV. Other Deputies assisted Constable Hayden for the man hunt. Pct. 4 Deputy Smith arrived on  scene with an ATV and quickly located the blue four wheeler abandon on a pipeline near a blue home. The blue ATV was checked by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch and it showed to be a stolen four wheeler. Deputies gained information that the suspect lived inside the blue home near a pipeline in a small mobile home park where the chase ended. A check of the home lead to the arrest of convicted felon, 30 year old , David Wilson from Cleveland. During the police chase, David caused damage to Constable Hayden’s patrol car. David was arrested for being in possession of a stolen ATV, evading arrest, and criminal mischief. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail. His bonds were set at $75,000

 

Neighborhood Narcotics Enforcement

On 12-04-09 at 4:45 am Deputy Bergland conducted a traffic stop on a black Ford truck for a traffic violation. Further investigation lead to the arrest of the driver for possession of marijuana. The driver was identified as 23-year-old Shannon Bean of Willis.

 

If you can’t say something nice, don’t say it at all !!!

On 12-06-09 at 4:40 am Deputy Bergland was on scene of a traffic stop in the Peach Creek Forest Neighborhood in New Caney. As Deputy Bergland was about to tow a vehicle for no driver’s license and no auto. Insurance, a white male walked up to the scene and began to curse out loud to everyone on scene. This person was identified as 39-year-old Joseph Lemoine from New Caney. Some wrecker drivers were offended during this outburst. Deputy Bergland placed Lemoine under arrest for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

 

Narcotics Arrest and Seizure 

There were several narcotics arrests that resulted in the seizure of several pieces of property and narcotics related money.
