“Happy New Year”
Montgomery County Constable Pct. 4 Deputies served 10 civil papers throughout East Montgomery County leaving 40 pending. There were no evections served. Captain Moody is in the process of serving 2 writs. Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s office made several arrest, from these arrest 17 JP 4 warrants were cleared. The Deputies also arrested 1 person for an outstanding Montgomery County misdemeanor warrant.
No Driver’s License, No Insurance, No Way
7 vehicles were towed in East Montgomery County for no DL and no insurance and 18 citations were issued to the drivers for traffic violations. 2 other vehicles were towed after the driver’s were arrested during a traffic stop.
DWI
On 12-23-09 at 6:30 pm Deputy Rivera assisted Constable Hayden on a traffic stop on Morgan Cemetery Rd. After a black Chevy truck was spotted driving reckless. The truck stopped in the middle of the road. Deputy Rivera conducted several field sobriety test on the 45 year old female driver who was identified as Deborah Head from Cleveland. Deborah failed several road side test. She was placed under arrest for her 3 rd DWI. She was transported to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe where he bond was set at $5,000.
Police Chase
On 12-27-09 at 12:30 am Deputy Bergland attempted to stop a black truck for running a red light at the Old Houston Rd. area. The driver of the truck failed to stop and drove into a neighborhood. Deputy Bergland gave chase. The driver fled the vehicle on foot into a wooded area, where Deputy Bergland caught the suspect. The driver was identified as 27 year old Thomas Johnson from Conroe Tx. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail. His bond was set at $1500

Bring in a new year safe and legal. If you are planning on celebrating New Years Eve with adult beverages please “DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE”. The Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office will be out in force on New Years Eve Night to help make sure that East Montgomery County is a little safer. There are several other Law Enforcement agencies that will be doing the same type of DWI enforcement. So please remember to have a designated driver and be safe.
