Pct. 4 Crime Report

Montgomery County Pct 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden reports the following events for the dates of October 27 – November 3:

Prepared by Chief Deputy Barry WelchMontgomery County Constable Pct. 4 Deputies served 43 civil papers throughout East Montgomery County leaving 56 pending. There were 11 evections served. Captain Moody served 2 writs and is in the process of serving 3 more. Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s office made several arrests, from these arrests 39 JP 4 warrants were cleared. The Deputies also arrested 2 persons for outstanding Montgomery County misdemeanor warrants, and 3 persons were arrested for outstanding felony warrants.

No Driver’s License, No Insurance, No Way
9 vehicles were towed in East Montgomery County for no DL and no insurance and 21 citations were issued to the drivers for traffic violations. 2 other vehicles were towed after the driver’s were arrested during a traffic stop.

Pct. 4 M.A.P. Unit (Deputy Rivera) worked 8 auto accidents, changed 14 flat tires, and assisted with 4 vehicles that ran out of gas, along with many other highway related calls.

Halloween Neighborhood Patrol
The Pct. 4 Constable’s Office was out in full force on Halloween Night. Half of the 18 man Law Enforcement agency covered all parts of the East Montgomery County area and preformed sex offender compliance checks on over 200 sex offenders living in East Montgomery County. Two sex offenders were filed on by the Constable Deputies for violations of their living conditions. The other half of this department conducted neighborhood patrols for the crowds of ghost, monsters and witches, that were trick or treating in the neighborhoods. Deputies on ATV’s, golf carts, and bicycle patrol made their rounds in the following neighborhoods: Oak Hurst, White Oak Plantation, Summer Set Estates, Kings Manor, Lone Star Ranch, Cumberland, Valley Ranch, and Forest Colony.

Neighborhood Narcotics Patrol
On 10-31-09 at 11:55 pm Deputy Rivera checked out on a suspicious vehicle in a business parking lot in the porter area. There were several people inside this vehicle. One of which was a wanted person in Montgomery County with several outstanding warrants. 27 year old Jodie Brown from Livingston was arrested and transported to the East Montgomery County Jail for a felony warrant. Deputy Bergland arrived on scene to assist Deputy Rivera. Deputy Bergland noticed that a second person in this vehicle was also a wanted person, further investigation lead to the arrest of 44 year old Johnny Bell from Houston. Johnny was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested and transported to the East Montgomery county Jail.
