Pct. 4 Crime Report

The Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office hit the ground running. The first week of the New Year under the newly elected Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden was a success.

Five vehicles were towed during traffic stops after Deputy Constables learned that the driver’s were unable to produce a current driver’s license and proof of liability insurance. One of Constable Hayden’s concerns is keeping the motorist of East Montgomery County safe. A zero tolerance plan was put into effect for drivers without driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
“No driver’s license, No insurance, No way” is our new motto.

Two felony and fourteen misdemeanors warrant arrest were made this week. One of the most wanted felons in East Montgomery County was located at a gas station in New Caney. Robert Lawerence Lopez was taken into custody without incident by Deputy Seals. Lopez had several surety to surrender felony warrants for his arrest. Two bonds were pre set at $20,000 each. He has been a fugitive in East Montgomery County since November 2008. Lopez’s common law wife Meshua Roth also has four outstanding misdemeanor warrants for her arrest. Hot check writers beware; there is a “New Constable in Town”.

Socorro Garza of Porter was arrested this week; she had 28 outstanding warrants for the issuance of bad checks.

Newly hired Deputy Constable Mark Seals conducted a traffic stop in the Porter area that resulted in a narcotics arrest. Brian Carnhan was arrested for possession of a dangerous drug and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail; his vehicle was also towed during this incident.

Deputies Sharp and Bergland conducted numerous traffic stops throughout the week. These traffic stops led to two different narcotics arrest.

The Pct. 4 Deputy Constables served a total of 181 civil papers, 8 writ attachments, made 19 arrests, and cleared up 51 warrants in East Montgomery County.
