Pct. 4 Crime Report

Montgomery County Pct 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden reports the
Following events for the date of January 19 – January 26:

Montgomery County Constable Pct. 4 Deputies served 33 civil papers throughout East Montgomery County. There were 22 evections served along with 1 writ.  Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s office made numerous arrests, from these arrests 41 JP 4 warrants were cleared. The Deputies also arrested 2 persons for outstanding Montgomery County misdemeanor warrants. There were no felony warrant arrests. 

No Driver’s License, No Insurance, No Way!
8 vehicles were towed in East Montgomery County for no DL and no insurance and 32 citations were issued to the drivers for traffic violations. 3 other vehicles were towed after the driver’s were arrested during a traffic stop.

Neighborhood Narcotics Patrol
On 1-20-10 at 12:00 am M.A.P. Deputy Rivera conducted a traffic stop on a red car on Hwy 59 in the Porter area for speeding. The driver of this vehicle was identified as 21 year old Kyle Endsley from Kingwood. Further investigation lead to a narcotics arrest after marijuana was discovered in Kyle’s car. Kyle was taken to the East Montgomery County Jail and charged with possession of marijuana.

On 01-20-10 at 11:00 pm K9 Deputy Bergland noticed a suspicious vehicle in a neighborhood with two people inside the car. Deputy Bergland made contact with the people inside the vehicle and found that the 38 year old driver had an active warrant for his arrest. A strong smell of burnt marijuana was about in the vehicle. A small amount of marijuana was found inside the vehicle. The male was identified as Glen Alford from Cleveland. Glen was arrested for possession of marijuana and Montgomery County Warrants. Glen was transported to the East Montgomery County Jail.

On 01-23-10 at 8:20 pm Constable Hayden conducted a traffic stop on a red truck in the Splendora area on East River Dr. The driver was identified as 26 year old Ryan Perkins from Kingwood. During the traffic stop Constable Hayden noticed a small bag of marijuana hanging out of Ryan’s front blue jeans pocket. Constable Hayden questioned Ryan about the narcotics. Ryan was arrested for possession of marijuana. He was transported to the East Montgomery County Jail.

On 01-24-10 at 2:30 am K9 Deputy Bergland conducted a traffic stop on a white car on Country West Dr. in the Grangerland area. The car smelled of burnt marijuana. The driver was identified as 20 year old Nicole Ray. The traffic stop soon turned into a narcotics investigation. A small bag of marijuana was located in the driver’s area of the car. Nicole was arrested for possession of marijuana. Further investigation lead to the passenger being arrested for possession of a controlled substance after several bags of cocaine were found in the passenger’s side of the car. Both were transported to the Conroe Jail.

Warrant Round-Up “Coming to a neighborhood near you”
A warrant round –up was focused in the Porter area last week. 160 warrants were attempted, 18 people were taken into custody to the mobile command unit that was stationed at Lp 494 near Ford Rd. Two males were taken to jail for outstanding warrants, all others who were brought in paid their fines and was released from the scene.
