Pct. 4 Crime Report

Montgomery County Pct 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden reports the following events for
Sept. 30 – Oct. 6

Pct. 4 deputies served 29 civil papers throughout East Montgomery County leaving 71 pending. There were 12 evictions served. Captain Moody served 2 writs and is in the process of serving 5 more. The Pct. 4 Constable’s office made several arrests. From these arrests, 28 JP 4 warrants were cleared. The Deputies also arrested 1 person for an outstanding Montgomery County misdemeanor warrant, and 3 persons were arrested for an outstanding felony warrants.

No Driver’s License, No Insurance, No Way
12 vehicles were towed in East Montgomery County for no DL and no insurance and 20 citations were issued to the drivers for traffic violations.

Neighborhood Narcotics Patrol
* On Oct. 10, at 1:15 am K-9 Deputy Bergland was patrolling a neighborhood in New Caney near the FM 1485 and Dorston Rd. area where he located a gray vehicle fail to use a turn signal. A traffic stop was conducted and during a pat down check for weapons a small bag of marijuana was located in the driver’s front pocket. The driver was identified as 42-year-old Paul Womack of Porter, who was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. His bond was set at $500.
* On Oct. 3, at 9 p.m., Deputy Looza and his partner, Deputy B. Hanks conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling East on Loop 494 in the New Caney area. The driver was traveling above the posted speed limit and had no driver’s license or insurance. During a tow report inspection a small black purse was located under the passenger side front seat. Inside the purse a small amount of methamphetamine was discovered along with a used syringe. The front seat passenger had track marks on her arms where she had been using a syringe to introduce methamphetamine into her blood stream. She was identified as 37-year-old Anquinette Winford of New Caney. Winford was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Her bond was set at $26,500. Winford had been convicted of possession of a controlled substance in the past.
* On Oct. 4, at 1 a.m., K-9 Deputy Bergland was conducting a narcotics investigation at the Walmart parking lot in Porter. The vehicle in question was a white truck. The driver was seen with a handgun. As the Deputy approached the vehicle the driver tossed the gun into the back seat area of the truck. Deputy Bergland made contact with the driver who was identified as 27-year-old Carl Williams of Houston, who was found to be in possession of marijuana with a gun located inside the vehicle. He was arrested for unlawful carrying of a firearm and possession of marijuana. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail. His bonds totaled $1,250.
* On Oct. 6 at 3 a.m., K-9 Deputy Sharp conducted a traffic stop on a brown truck on Walker Rd. near Hwy 105. This vehicle ran a stop sign. A passenger inside this vehicle was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

National Night Out
Deputies with the Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office will be out in support of some East Montgomery County neighborhoods on Tuesday night. Five deputies will be assigned to bicycle patrol and will be in the following neighborhoods: Valley Ranch, King’s Manor, and The Cumberland Neighborhood.
