Montgomery County Pct 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden reports the following events for the dates of 9/22/09 – 09/30/09:

Montgomery County Constable Pct. 4 deputies served 110 civil papers throughout East Montgomery County leaving 75 pending. There were 24 evections served. Captain Moody served 2 writs and is in the process of serving 9 more. Montgomery County Pct. 4 Constable’s office made several arrests, from these arrests 16 JP 4 warrants were cleared. The Deputies also arrested 6 persons for outstanding Montgomery County misdemeanor warrants, and 1 person was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
No Driver’s License, No Insurance, No Way
16 vehicles were towed in East Montgomery County for no DL and no insurance and 18 citations were issued to the drivers for traffic violations.
Neighborhood Narcotics Patrol
On 09-22-09 at 12:23 a.m. K-9 Deputy J. Bergland conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Walker Rd. in Conroe. The driver was not wearing a seat belt. The driver stepped out of the vehicle and the deputy noticed a large object in the front of the driver’s pants. While talking with the driver a large hand gun fell out of the driver’s pants and onto the ground. The driver was placed into custody. The driver was identified as convicted felon, 22-year-old Preston Bariett of Conroe. This same person was out on felony bond, and had an active felony warrant for his arrest for a different case. His vehicle was towed. During the vehicle tow report a small amount of methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle. He was transported to the East Montgomery County Jail. His bonds were set at $200,000.00
Rescue property Returned
On 09-23-09 at 3:28 Pm K-9 Deputy J. Bergland conducted a narcotics investigation at a home located on Grassy Ln. in Conroe. The narcotics in question was a large amount of marijuana growing in the front yard near a mobile home. Deputy Bergland attempted to make contact with the owner of the residence. After knocking on the door a male opened the front door and was identified as the owner of the property. The male advised his name was Decidoro Miranda, 21, of Conroe. As the deputy conducted his investigation it was discovered that Decidoro was in possession of marijuana, possession of a sawed off shot gun (prohibited weapon) and possession of some stolen property. The stolen property was a utility trailer, and two jet skis. The jet skies were reported stolen out of Harris County by the Texas search group known as TEXAS EQUUSEARCH. Both jet skies have been returned to the search group. Decidoro was arrested for five felony charges. He was transported to the East Montgomery County Jail.
