Pct. 4 deputies bust frequent flyer

EAST MONTGOMERY COUNTY – Deputies with the Pct. 4 Constable’s Office arrested a repeat drug offender in Roman Forest on Wednesday evening, after other violations led to his vehicle being impounded and inventoried, revealing the presence of illegal drugs, according to Lt. Mark Seals.

Arthur Ray “Woody” Woodcock, Jr. 31, who lives at 23778 Ford Rd. in Porter, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Woodcock also had an active blue warrant, meaning his parole has been revoked.

Public Data shows Woodcock has multiple prior convictions, both for possession and delivery of a controlled substance, including dates in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008, and was recently paroled by the Texas Department of Corrections on a drug related conviction.

Woodcock’s bond was set at $50,000 on the drug charge, but because of the blue warrant, he will not be released.
