Pct. 4 Deputies Say Victim Recognized and Confronted Suspect

HARRIS COUNTY, TX— On June 21, a Deputy with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance at the McDonald’s in the 8400 block of FM 1960 Bypass Road West. Deputies arrived and detained the suspect, Reagan Cannon.

According to investigators, the disturbance began when the victim allegedly recognized Cannon as the individual captured on surveillance video breaking into her two vehicles days earlier, when multiple items were stolen. The woman confronted Cannon at the restaurant and then provided responding Deputies with the footage. Investigators reviewed the video and confirmed that Cannon was the suspect in the prior vehicle burglaries.

Reagan Cannon was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. He is charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle with prior convictions, a State Jail Felony. His bond was set at $15,000 by the 486th District Court. At the time of his arrest, Cannon was also out on a $100 bond for a previous Criminal Trespass charge.

“This case is another example of how citizen involvement and surveillance footage can help hold criminals accountable,” said Constable Mark Herman.
