MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- Precinct 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden’s guys, often called the “Men In Black” have captured the subject of a manhunt in the Grangerland area in the early hours of Monday. Chase Matthew Reese was tracked to a house on E. Martin Drive in Porter Monday evening. Multiple Precinct 4 units, assisted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office approached the residence, causing Reese to flee on foot to E. Wallace. As a last resort, Deputies deployed the TASER to subdue Reese, who was then taken into custody.

MCHD medics responded to the scene and transported Reese to an area hospital, where doctors admitted him for dehydration.

Reese was wanted for a 2022 Driving While Intoxicated crash in Harris County, where he struck a fence. He also faces narcotics charges because Precinct 4 Investigators allegedly found methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana in the vehicle crashed early Monday near the intersection of FM 1485 and FM 3083 before fleeing on foot, triggering an areawide manhunt and “Attempt to Locate”. That maneuver earned Reese more than a damaged vehicle – now he also faces a charge for evading arrest. If that weren’t enough, Reese is a suspect in multiple burglaries.
