A man allegedly stole a high-dollar item from a local retailer and fled in a vehicle, but Hayden’s Heroes had the bandit behind bars a few hours later!
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- On Thursday, just before 1 p.m., Deputies from Pct. 4 Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden’s Office responded to a theft report at the Home Depot in Porter. Employees said a man took a Makita electric push mower without paying, loading it into the back of a yellow Ford pickup and driving away.
A Pct. 4 Sergeant found the vehicle a short time later in the area of New Caney’s Valley Ranch Shopping Center. The suspect, 42-year-old Archie Joles, of Porter was arrested and charged with class A misdemeanor Theft, value of more than $750 but less than $2,500.
Constable Hayden said Deputies swiftly locating and arresting the suspect is part of his agency’s determination to deter crime in East Montgomery County, and keep it a safe place to live or visit.
“We remain committed to serving the residents of Precinct 4 with professionalism, dedication, and compassion, as we uphold the law and protect our citizens’ property and well-being,” Constable Hayden said.
