The TAC Team wrapped up the week with the final two arrests, which were the result of a search warrant executed with the assistance of the Precinct 2 Constable’s Office. On January 7, deputies received information regarding a large amount of raw marijuana at a residence on Miller Circle in Conroe. After obtaining a search warrant, the Tac Team went to the residence where they discovered a small amount of marijuana in a closet with a shotgun and a .357 revolver. The serial numbers on the .357 had been obscured. While the Tac Team was on location, an 18-year-old male arrived home and claimed ownership of the room where the marijuana was discovered and was taken into custody, charged with misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana. Meanwhile, Tac Team members learned a second suspect, believed to be in possession of the large amount of marijuana they sought, attempted to hide it at an associate’s residence, fearing law enforcement was already en route to his house. The contraband was discovered at a home in the 16000 block of Aldridge, in Conroe.
