Pct. 4’s Case of “Slippery When Wet”

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Friday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 7100 block of Avalon Bend Circle in reference to a female suspect who knocked on someone’s door asking for help. She was soaking wet and claimed to have driven her vehicle into a nearby pond but was unsure if she’d had a passenger in the vehicle.

Deputies arrived and identified the mysterious wet woman as 29-year-old Jennifer Bello, who allegedly displayed multiple signs of intoxication. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were conducted, and Deputies determined Bello was intoxicated. She also had a previous DWI conviction.

The vehicle was extracted from the pond and found to be unoccupied.

“Jennifer Bello was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Her bond and court information have not been set at this time,” Constable Mark Herman said.
