MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- Early Sunday morning, Deputies with Pct. 5 Constable Chris Jones’s Office responded to a crash reported at 37707 FM 1774 in the Magnolia area. Deputies say the man allegedly reporting the crash as a hit and run appeared intoxicated. They also allegedly found Jose Arrendondo Villegas called for law enforcement and made a false police report of an FSGI (failure to stop and give information). The suspect was placed in custody for Driving While Intoxicated, and false police report. Deputies transported him to the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe for booking.
Jose Alfredo Arrendondo Villegas, 38, of Waller is charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
The charge of False Report to Peace Officer, Federal Special Investigator, Law Enforcement Employee, Corrections Officer, or Jailer was not accepted for some reason. Bond is set at $600 on the DWI charge.
